April 2024 / Ai Hasegawa’s work will be shown in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Ai Hasegawa will participate as the first Japanese female artist in the 7th Women to Watch exhibition at the National Museums of Women in the Arts (NMWA) in Washington, D.C., which will open in April. Under the theme “New Worlds,” the exhibition will explore how post-pandemic societal disruptions, reforms, wars, and scientific developments will affect our future through the works of 28 women artists gathered from around the world. Ms. Hasegawa will exhibit her early work titled “(Im)possible Baby.”
